Venture off campus to the Upstate Medical Arena at the Oncenter War Memorial this Sunday. A Boogie Wit da Hoodie will be performing at the venue as part of the Me Myself vs. The College Tour.

Funk ‘n Waffles
Syracuse University alum Sarah Gross will return to Syracuse on Thursday for a performance at Funk ‘n Waffles. Since graduating from SU in 2022, Gross has sold out shows at Rockwood Music Hall, and played at The Bitter End, Mercury Lounge and The Bowery Electric. In September, she played at the Bradstock Music Festival in her home base of Long Island. Gross has gained an audience in the indie music scene with her folk/country style. Syracuse local pop/funk artist Stephen Phillips will also perform at Funk ‘n Waffles. Tickets can be purchased online.

The Song and Dance
Buffalo native pop band The Burkharts will take the stage at The Song and Dance on Friday night. Described as a 1950s-style beach pop group, the band uses fast drum beats, angelic background harmonies and a subtle bit of guitar, to give off a vibe similar to The Beach Boys. Their latest single “Valley Girl” was released on Sept. 26. Special guests Glass Image, Rhodes Corduroy, The Kicks and Misty Mountain Midnight will also perform. Tickets can be purchased online.

The Westcott Theater
Los Angeles-based music producer Megalodon will perform at The Westcott Theater on Saturday night. Beginning his career in 2008, Megalodon has worked with some of the biggest names in the EDM scene. These collaborations include “Wit Me Dub” with Zeds Dead and “Yaba Dabs” in partnership with Habstrakt. Rock bands Nersa and Horton will also perform. Tickets can be purchased online.

The Mudpit
House-show venue The Mudpit is hosting its fourth show of the semester Saturday night. Student artists Crome, Saint Luke and Padma will perform. A new student band Glam will make its debut. Direct message The Mudpit on Instagram for more information and to buy tickets.

The Oncenter
Hip-hop superstar A Boogie Wit da Hoodie is performing at Upstate Medical Arena at the Oncenter War Memorial on Sunday night. Artist Dubose, known as A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, first gained popularity in 2016 with the song “Still Think About You” on his debut mixtape “Artist.” Following the release of “Artist” A Boogie was named to XXl’s 2017 Freshman Class. In 2018, A Boogie was nominated for the “Best New Artist” BET award and released his sophomore album “Hoodie SZN,” which spent 17 weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard Top 200. Following a sabbatical from music from 2019 to 2021, he released a single, “24 Hours,” featuring rapper Lil Durk. Tickets for the concert can be purchased online, with both general admission and arena seating still available.
